Dad Habits came about after 4 dads who share a love of punk rock came together to play the songs of their youth that they love. 

​

Band's like NOFX, No Fun At All, No Use For a Name, Strung Out, Lagwagon, Propaghandi, Bad Religion, Ten Foot Pole and a host of others had coloured the musical tastes of these Dads in their formative years and they never forgot.

All of them had developed and honed their individual musical skills in playing multiple genres, instruments, and in different musical formats over time which has only been beneficial.

​

3 of the members had played in the popular Ulladulla band "Needless to Say" and suffice to say the magic was still there.

Since their formation The Dads have supported Australian punk rock royalty, Bodyjar, crowd favourites 28 Days, and rising stars Raised As Wolves among others.
